DIY Sunshade Update

DIY Sunshade

It's been hot for last few weeks! Sufficient time to test the Adams Auto Advice DIY Sunshade. My Stepdad has reported that it has been working well in his Volvo S40, and fits quite well. It keeps the car cooler, and is a great talking point with people. I was actually surprised by how well it seemed to work. I encourage others to make their own DIY Sunshade. Your car's interior will appreciate it more than you will!

  1. I think it is a pretty good idea to test this sunshade. I had my Nissan Sentra and it seem that is one is only for Volvo S40 so I guess I’ll just buy one or if not, customize my own.

  2. Nice job on the sunshade. Another item that works great for making sunshades is Reflectix, which can be found at Lowes and The Home Depot. It looks like silver/chrome bubble wrap and it comes in a large roll, so you could probably make quite a few sunshades.
