  1. I wonder if a group could also rent it out just to ride around while talking and eating…can you bring food and non alcoholic beverages…or is it too hard to pedal AND eat? If a few people get tired, can they just stop pedaling? Does the Pedal Mill still run?

  2. You can definitely ride the bike around while talking at eating. You can bring anything on the bike that you want…we get lots of birthday cakes, snacks, even chicken dinners! It may get a little tough to eat and pedal the whole time, but it only goes about 5mph so it isn’t bad. There are 10 designated pedaling seats, two seats that don’t have pedals and a bench not he back that can fit 3 people or so, so people often trade off with who is doing the work. The bike is completely powered by pedaling though, so if everyone stops, so does the bike. :)
    Thanks for the questions!

  3. Oh…thanks for the info. That’s great to know. When it gets warmer it would be fun to rent the Pedal Mill out for socializing, eating, drinking, AND exercising…talk about mulitasking… : )

    • I believe the Pedal Mill has been rented out for all sorts of different events and activities. It can run anywhere in Baltimore, but Amanda and her team mainly want to want to use it in Fells Point and Canto, to my understanding. Thank you for commenting!
